Rhodes Student Research Accepted in National Journal

Rhodes alumna Megan Hofto ’07 has had a manuscript based on her honors thesis accepted for publication in the Journal of Physical Chemistry B, the top-ranked journal in the area of physical chemistry. The title of her honors thesis is “Interaction energies between tetrahydrobiopterin analogues and aromatic residues in tyrosine hydroxylase and phenylalaninehydroxylase.”
Hofto, who graduated cum laude, with Honors, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, will attend University of Tennessee College of Medicine in the fall.
