Paul Sinclair ’07 Receives Leadership Scholarship

The American Institute of Physics and the Society of Physics Students (SPS) has awarded Paul Sinclair an SPS Leadership Scholarship in the amount of $2,000. The awards are intended to encourage the study of physics and the pursuit of high scholarship. Sinclair graduated earlier this month with a BS in Physics and minors in Psychology and Mathematics.

While at Rhodes, Sinclair rowed the bow position on the men′s varsity shell of the Rhodes crew team. He also enjoys racing radio-controlled off-road cars, and finished 52nd at the R/C Off-Road World Championships in Collegno, Italy, in 2005. Future plans include attending Cornell University to pursue a Masters′ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and then entering the commercial world or working in a lab setting in either Engineering or Physics.
