Publication Date: 1/30/2007
Lance Ingwersen ’03 returns to his alma mater to team up with the two authors of An Atlas and Survey of Latin American History in a roundtable discussion of collaborative scholarship in action. Ingwersen served as research assistant to Rhodes professor Mike LaRosa and German R. Mejia, a history professor at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogata. The three will describe the process of researching and writing a collaborative text between two historians in different countries with the active support and participation of student researchers. The event will occur at 7 pm in East Village Lodge on Thursday, February 1.
Ingwersen, who played varsity soccer at Rhodes while working on his degree in Latin American Studies, is now a certified special education teacher in Chicago.
