West Village and Expanded Refectory

Our beautiful campus grows even more welcoming with the completion of the West Village residence halls, which provide students with new spacious living arrangements and a variety of amenities. We have also expanded and transformed the Catherine Burrow Refectory to include a major new dining hall. The transformed refectory serves as the college’s new “living room” and, like the Paul Barret Jr. Library, is among the best in the nation.

West Village Features

  • 52,000 square feet
  • 141 total beds
  • Half are single room suites, half are spacious double room suites 
  • Every suite includes a furnished living room
  • Every suite includes a bathroom
  • Laundry facilities on every floor
  • A variety of comfortable common social spaces, including two with fireplaces
  • A common kitchen area

Burrow Refectory Expansion Features

  • 18,500 square feet of new construction, including a major new dining hall
  • A transformational renovation of existing space to accommodate a new grand servery featuring a bakery, a brick pizza oven, and several cook-to-order food stations, which will provide students with fresh menu options ranging from stir fry to vegan dishes
  • A new fireside lounge and kitchen
  • A variety of seating options and other comfortable new furnishings
