Make Preparations Now to Apply for a Summer Fellowship

Students, while you are on break consider applying for Rhodes Summer Fellowships. Rhodes has pioneered several programs that help pay college expenses while allowing students to practice skills and principles acquired through coursework.

Three of these programs offered in the summer are: 

  • Rhodes Institute for Regional Studies-Students are engaged in research about topics related to Memphis and the Mid-South.
  • Crossroads to Freedom-Students are engaged in preserving and documenting the history of Memphis and the Mid-South during the Civil Rights era.
  • Summer Service Fellowships-Students team up with Memphis non-profit organizations to work on community issues such as education, health care, global warming, homelessness, etc.
