Housing for Semester of Return
If you require housing for the semester of your return to Rhodes, it is your responsibility to communicate regularly with members of the Residence Life staff. Please read these paragraphs carefully.
If you are to be away from Rhodes during the spring semester and plan to live on campus the following fall, you must complete the on-line registration process and agree to the Cancellation Policy by February 10. By March 1, you must provide the name of your proxy–the person who will act on your behalf during the housing selection process–to the Residence Life Office.
If you are to be away from Rhodes during the fall semester and plan to live on campus spring semester, you must put your name on the waiting list in the Residence Life Office. You are encouraged to contact Residence Life late in the fall semester to offer additional input with preferences. In most cases, you will be notified of your housing assignment by January 1. Every effort will be made to accommodate your housing requests, but there is no guarantee of housing or of meeting requests.
If a student registers for housing, and then decides to participate in an off-campus study program during fal semester, the registration will be deferred to the spring semester, and no cancellation fee will be incurred.
