Publication Date: 6/24/2009
Rhodes senior and philosophy major Lacey Hudspeth is the recipient of a 2009 Fund for Theological Education (FTE) Undergraduate Fellowship. The FTE awards recognize young leaders who are exploring ministry as a vocation and provide funds for them to attend a conference on pastoral leadership.
Fellows are selected by a national committee of theological educators and church leaders from a pool of applicants from across the U.S. and Canada. Applicants must be nominated by a professor, school administrator, pastor or campus minister; hold a minimum 3.0 grade point average; and demonstrate leadership in a church or school community.
Dr. Michelle Voss Roberts, assistant professor of Religious Studies at Rhodes, nominated Hudspeth for the award which is funded by the Lilly Endowment Inc.
