Peruvian Artist to Speak and Display Recent Work at Rhodes

Peruvian artist Nicario Jimenez Quispe will present an informal talk about art and recent political processes in the United States on Tuesday, April 28, in 312 Clough.  Jimenez will deliver his remarks in Spanish and Professor Mike LaRosa will provide simultaneous translation.

Some of Jimenez′s recent work will be on display. The talk and exhibit begin at 4 p.m.

"Mr. Jimenez is one of the most important retablo artists working today in the U.S. or Latin America," says LaRosa.  "His work and talks are always a big hit here at the college."
