First Year Students Get Help on Choosing Careers
Publication Date: 1/6/2009
On January 12, Career Services will hold “Career Tracks,” an annual planning program designed specifically for first-year Rhodes students. It provides students with the opportunity to learn more about themselves, majors, and careers. The event will be held in Blount Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Through assessment interpretations, major panels and an employer roundtable luncheon, students will become empowered with the necessary knowledge to choose a major and career path that is the best “fit” for them.
A $35 participation fee is required, which includes assessment results (a $350 value) and programming costs. The deadline to register for Career Tracks is Thursday, January 8. Contact oakesa@rhodes.edu to register and/or for more information.
