Share Meals And Fellowship
Publication Date: 12/19/2008

During the holiday season, Rhodes’ Souper Contact loses most of its student volunteers and relies on faculty, staff, alumni and community members to keep it running. Founded in 1988, Souper Contact is a student-run meal program operated on Tuesdays.
Volunteers prepare and serve food, set tables, chat with Souper Contact visitors and clean up at the soup kitchen located in the basement of St. John’s United Methodist Church (1207 Peabody). The hours are 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
