Meeman at Night: What You Need to Know About Social Security

The Meeman Center for Lifelong Learning at Rhodes is offering a course on “What You Need to Know about Social Security” October 21. Free and open to the public, the session is 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in King Hall.
To provide a better understanding of the background and computation behind the Social Security statement mailed annually, the session will address terms such as OASDI Trust Fund, Quarter of Coverage, Fully Insured, Entitlement, Eligibility, AIME and PIA, to name a few. It will not involve financial planning or the sale of any investment products.
