Rhodes Community to Convene for 160th Academic Year

Dr. Mary Miller, associate professor of biology, will present "Life at Rhodes: Creating Yourself, Not Cloning Yourself" at the annual Opening Convocation on August 27. Miller is the 2008 recipient of the Clarence Day Dean′s Award for Outstanding Research and/or Creative Activity.
The program, beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Presbyterian Church, convenes the Rhodes community for its 160th academic year and welcomes the Class of 2012. Also at opening convocation, Dr. Michael Drompp, Dean of the Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs, will present the Jameson M. Jones Award for Outstanding Faculty Service.
