Students Dive Into Coral Reef Study in the Honduras
Publication Date: 6/17/2008
Each summer, Biology Professor David Kesler offers a coral reef ecology course given on Roatan Island, Honduras.
The goal is for students to be able to recognize and classify the major floral and faunal components associated with coral reefs, turtle grass beds, and mangrove communities. The schedule includes observing and studying these habitats and organisms as well as snorkeling, diving, and laboratory exercises.
