Dr. Shadrack W. Nasong'o, assistant professor of international studies at Rhodes, has edited a new book titled The African Search For Stable Forms of Statehood: Essays In Political Criticism (The Edwin Mellen Press).

His other books include Kenya: The Struggle for Democracy (with G.R. Murunga) and Contending Political Paradigms in Africa: Rationality and the Politics of Democratization in Kenya and Zambia.
