Cary Fowler ’71, executive director of the Global Crop Diversity Trust and leader of the establishment of Norway’s Svalbard Global Seed Vault that opened in February, was featured on CBS’ “60 Minutes” March 23. The vault, a repository for hundreds of thousands of seeds from around the world, aims to save the planet’s biodiversity for generations to come.
