Student-Athletes Make SCAC Academic Honor Roll

Rhodes College ranks second (out of 12 institutions) for the total number of student-athletes named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Academic Honor Roll for Fall 2007.
 
SCAC began recognizing the academic accomplishments of its athletes in the fall of 1997. To qualify, an athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.  Rhodes has had 1,519 student-athletes to make the SCAC All-Academic Honor Roll since 1997. 

The SCAC is comprised of Austin College of Sherman, Texas; Birmingham-Southern College of Birmingham, Alabama; Centre College of Danville, Kentucky; Colorado College of Colorado Springs, Colorado; DePauw University of Greencastle, Indiana; Hendrix College of Conway, Arkansas; Millsaps College of Jackson, Mississippi; Oglethorpe University of Atlanta, Georgia; Rhodes College of Memphis, Tennessee; The University of the South of Sewanee, Tennessee; Southwestern University of Georgetown, Texas; and Trinity University of San Antonio, Texas.
