Area High School Students to View "Wattstax: I Am Somebody!" Exhibit

In collaboration with the Rhodes Admissions Office and Facing History and Ourselves, the Rhodes African American Studies program will sponsor a private viewing and discussion of the "Wattstax: I Am Somebody!" Exhibit as well as an Admissions information session and tour of campus. The event is from 2 p.m to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17.
More than 50 high school juniors from Central, Ridgeway, White Station, and Wooddale High Schools who are enrolled in the Facing History and Ourselves course or student group are expected to participate.
Steven Becton ’88, a Senior Program Associate with Facing History and Ourselves, will facilitate the discussion about the exhibit currently on display in Barret 051.
